Qantas recently announced a new team of beverage experts from the Rockpool Restaurant Group.
The new team will select grape, sparkling grape, spirits and other beverages for Qantas domestic and international flights and lounges. The team features 16 experienced sommeliers and mixologists. As the airline continues its investment in training, Rockpool Sommeliers will also be part of the Qantas Advanced Sommelier in the Sky training programme for cabin crew. More than 150 cabin crew are currently trained as onboard sommeliers and more will be joining this group in 2015.
