Qantas will resume its Perth–Singapore route this summer.
From 26 June 2015, the airline will operate five weekly services on the route. Flights will depart Perth every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1200, arriving in Singapore at 1720. The return service will then leave Singapore at 1825, arriving back in Perth at 2340.
Qantas will operate the new route using a Boeing 737 aircraft with business class and economy class seats.
“We know how important it is for West Australian business travellers to have seamless access to
Asia so we’re delighted to be able to offer the Perth-Singapore route with a schedule and aircraft type that will make it commercially viable,” said Qantas International’s CEO, Gareth Evans.
“The new international service has been made possible through the Qantas Group’s aircraft utilisation programme – which is about having the right aircraft on the right route – and matching schedules with customer demand.
Meanwhile, Qantas is also adding two more weekly flights between Perth and Brisbane, taking to the total frequency of the route to 30 flights per week.
