Royal Caribbean has unveiled the full range of activities that will be available on the world’s biggest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas, when it launches in May.

“We are taking entertainment to the next level on Harmony of the Seas with more captivating, immersive entertainment experiences than ever before,” said Nick Weir, vice president, Entertainment, Royal Caribbean International. “The level of innovation that has gone into our latest lineup is truly mind blowing, and Harmony guests can expect the unexpected with our biggest, most awe-inspiring stage yet.”

With state of the art technology that supersedes traditional threatres, 1,380 seats and two brand new headline shows, including Broadway musical Grease and an original Royal Caribbean production, Columbus, The Musical!, the ‘Theatre Royal’ will be a popular first port of call for those aboard Harmony of the Seas.

Harmony of the Seas also launches its own AquaTheatre. Similar to those found aboard Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, passengers will be able to watch acrobatic dives as performers jump from two 10-metre high platforms into the largest and deepest freshwater pool found at sea. The new AquaTheatre will offer two new shows, including The Fire Line, a 360 degree immersive entertainment stunt show and Hideaway Heist, an action-packed high-diving comedy show.

An array of ice skating shows will also be available onboard Harmony of the Seas. Passengers will be able to see performances from professional ice skaters in two new Studio B productions. The shows include 1887, an original Royal Caribbean production about love and adventure in Paris during the 19th century.

The Royal Promenade also makes a welcome return and will continue the tradition of Royal Caribbean’s signature theme nights and parades, with Totally Awesome 90s offering an evolution from the much loved Promenade 70s Party from previous ships. Harmony of the Seas also re-introduces party planning service, Let’s Celebrate. From birthdays to Bar Mitzvahs, anniversaries to engagements, Let’s Celebrate gives holidaymakers the opportunity to personalise their special events.

Harmony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, will span 16 guest decks, encompass 227,000 gross registered tons, carry 5,497 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,747 staterooms.
