The development of Regent Hotels & Resorts‘ first property in Xi’an has reached a major milestone, following the completion of major construction work.
The Regent Place Xian has now “topped out”, and the new luxury hotel is on track to open in the second half of 2016. With the main structure of the building complete, Regent will now work with the Blink Design Group on the interiors.
Once finished, the hotel will offer 156 rooms and suites, four restaurants, a gym, spa, swimming pool and sauna, plus five function rooms, a grand ballroom and a business centre.
“Regent is a luxury hotel brand with its roots deeply engrained in Asia, dedicated to creating the perfect mix of east and west, modern and tradition,” said Regent’s chairman, Steven Pan. “It is an honour to have the opportunity to launch our presence in city so rich in culture and history.”
Regent Place Xian is the second of four Regent hotels scheduled to open in the next three years, following Regent Chongqing and preceding Regent Place Harbin and Regent Jakarta.
