Sarovar Hotels has expanded its Indian portfolio with the signing of a new property in Dalhousie, the hill station in Himachal Pradesh.

Scheduled to open in 2018, the new Presidium Sarovar Portico Dalhousie will have a prime location in the town, close to all main tourist attractions. It will feature a restaurant, bar, gym, swimming pool, spa and function facilities.

“With its unparalleled scenic beauty, Dalhousie is an important tourism destination with rising number of visitors from across the country,” said Ajay K. Bakaya, executive director of Sarovar Hotels. “It is an important location for us and a significant addition to our portfolio.”

The Dalhousie hotel becomes Sarovar’s third in Himachal Pradesh, following two in Mashobra and Palampur.
