Superbreak has started to sell scheduled airline fares with its short break packages.

The tour operator’s new system means travel agents can book flights from various airports with airlines including KLM, CityJet, bmi Regional, Darwin Airline, Little Red and Eastern Airways.

This will allow passengers to travel into Europe or around the UK from airports such as Manston, Humberside, Durham Tees Valley, London City, Bristol, Cambridge and more.

Plans are also in place to expand its flight and hotel options in destinations further away including New York, Boston, Las Vegas and Dubai.

“We introduced our flight inclusive packages in December 2011 and they have proved popular, but this new system development has taken our transport offering into a new phase, with hundreds of new routes,” said Jane Atkins, sales director at Superbreak.

“It opens up so much more of the world and is fantastic for agents in the regions as they can now book hotels, flights from their local airport and ancillaries all in one go. I believe we will now offer agents a dynamic packaging system all in one place, using our ATOL and specialist knowledge,” she added.
