Shinta Mani, which operates two luxury boutique hotels in Cambodia, has rebranded its two existing properties and unveiled plans to launch two more, in partnership with acclaimed hospitality designer and architect Bill Bensley.

The group’s two hotels in Siem Reap were both rebranded on 1 July 2017, with the 66-room Shinta Mani Resort being renamed as the Shinta Mani Shack and the 39-room Shinta Mani Club becoming the Shinta Mani Angkor.

And the company has now teamed up with Bill Bensley, who has worked on the design of multiple hotels across Asia, to create two new luxury properties which are due to open in late 2017 and mid 2018 respectively.

The Bensley Collection will be an “exclusive portfolio of super-luxe hotels and resorts… showcasing visionary concepts, extra-ordinary design and bespoke service”, according to the company.

Under this concept, the new Shinta Mani Angkor – Bensley Collection is expected to open in November 2017, providing 10 luxury art deco-style villas.

Then in the third quarter of 2018, Shinta Mani Wild – Bensley Collection will be a safari-style project with 16 luxury tents. Located in the wilderness of Tmor Rung, two hours’ drive from Phnom Penh, this eco-friendly property will feature tents that are “elevated over… swift-moving water and waterfalls”.
