Singapore appoints South India rep

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has appointed a representative in South India.
Knack Marketing will promote the destination through sales and marketing services for a variety of tourism products from 1 September 2013. Operations will spearhead in Chennai and Bengaluru.
Knack Marketing takes over from Falcon Infocomm who represented STB in Chennai and Bengaluru since September 2010. Speaking of the appointment, Chee Pey Chang, executive director for South Asia, Middle East and Africa at STB said, “South India is a major source market for leisure, MICE, overseas school trips and cruise travel to Singapore. STB has been very active in the market for more than a decade now and will continue to work closely with our partners to bring travellers to Singapore. We are confident that Knack Marketing will help us further develop a strong and positive brand perception of Singapore, enticing travellers to visit and re-visit the country to enjoy its varied range of experience.”
On being appointed as the marketing representative, Medha Sampat, founder of Knack Marketing said, “We are absolutely delighted to be so closely associated with Singapore. We want travellers from South India to explore more of this dynamic country and enhance their holiday experience.”
