SkyTeam confirms management shake-up

SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has announced chairman Leo van Wijk will retire in November after eight years in the role.

He will be succeeded by current SkyTeam chief executive Michael Wisbrun, who himself will be replaced by Perry Cantarutti as CEO.

Currently Delta Air Lines’ senior VP – Europe, Middle East and Africa, Cantarutti will join SkyTeam on 1 September for a two-month transition period with Wisbrun.
