Thai Airways explains injured passengers

Thai Airways has released a statement explaining what happens to its flight on 30 August that left 20 staff and passengers injured.
The aircraft, which was flying between Bangkok and Hong Kong, hit turbulence while descending to Chek Lap Kok Airport, causing the injuries. The statement by Thai Airways, confirmed that while the pilots landed the plane safely, some passengers did need to go to hospital.

The statement concluded:
“Thai regrets this unforeseen weather occurrence and will tend to medical expenses of all passengers and staff who were injured. Chadchart Sittipunt, minister of Transport, also expressed concern and emphasized that Thai take care of those injured.”
The company has been busy of late, announcing an initiative with Tourism New Zealand targetting Thai tourists.
