RAINER STAMPFER has been promoted to the position of president of hotel operations for Asia Pacific with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Stampfer has worked with the company since 2001 and currently serves as regional vice president and general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Pudong Shanghai.
BILL LOW has been named as Oakwood Asia Pacific’s new vice president of finance, based in Singapore. Low is no stranger to the hospitality industry, having previously worked for the Gloria International Hotel in Beijing and most recently serving as vice president of finance at Pan Pacific.
THANET KUN has become regional director of sales for Sokha Hotels in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She will now oversee the sales and marketing activities at the two Sokha hotels in the town, including the new 776-room Sokha Siem Reap Resort. She previously spent four years at the Sokha Angkor Resort.
PIETRO ADDIS has become the new general manager of the Como Maalifushi, a private island resort in the Maldives. Addis joins Como from Aman Resorts, where he worked as area manager for Sri Lanka since December 2012. He moved into luxury travel having started his career in the banking sector.
DIDIER BELMONTE has been appointed general manager of the Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan, in the Philippines. A French national, Belmonte arrives at the hotel from Taiwan’s Sun Moon Lake. He previously worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and leading hotels including The Strand in Yangon.
CARL GAGNON has been appointed general manager of the Hôtel des Arts Saigon, which forms part of AccorHotels’ MGallery Collection. A French national, Gagnon has more than 20 years’ experience, most recently as GM of Grand Mercure Danang Hotel. He has also worked in Thailand and Canada.
