Tour operator Travel 2 has partnered with Insight Vacations to become the only sales agent for the touring specialist’s luxury product for independent agents in the UK.
‘Luxury Touring curated by Insight Vacations’ launched on 18 October with a new dedicated brochure landing with agents this week.
The new exclusive partnership will be fulfilled by a dedicated touring team within Travel 2’s Glasgow sales centre with over a decade of touring experience. Sales for escorted touring with Travel 2 are up 143 per cent for the Indian Ocean, 103 per cent for India and over 50 per cent for Central America year to date and show no sign of slowing down.
The operator said the addition of the new ‘Luxury Touring curated by Insight Vacations’ product will further complement the established Travel 2 touring portfolio. This allows Travel 2 to offer agents an even greater choice of luxury tailor–made touring getaways that include flying with a vast choice of the world’s leading airlines from regional departure airports and unrivalled pre and post hotel or cruise options. Agents will also benefit from competitive commission levels and access to the T2 Rewards Scheme.
Luxury Touring curated by Insight Vacations offers a worldwide touring programme featuring 38 escorted journeys, across Europe, North and South America, India, Southeast Asia and Australasia, including 15 new luxury itineraries, nine new countries, two new continents and an exciting volunteerism product for the first time in 2017. The hallmarks of a Luxury Touring holiday include exclusive VIP and behind-the-scenes experiences – such as a private dinner and tour of Graceland with Elvis’ close friend, coupled with epicurean dining in the finest restaurants and the services of a 24/7 Travelling Concierge. All Luxury Touring holidays also include private chauffeured VIP door-to-door pick up.
