Travel Counsellors’ UK business grows 11%

Travel Counsellors has seen a global increase in sales in the past 12 months, with its UK business up 11%.
Overall its UK arm has seen 53% growth in the last five years, with the last year seeing global sales go up to £428 million from £385m.
With its repeat business for leisure and corporate now at 70% and 95% managing director Steve Byrne said each individual counsellor’s income has risen 10%.
Its focus in the next five years will now focus on marketing and brand awareness, improved margins, business travel and international expansion, having already expanded in countries such as the UAE and Belgium.

Yet there is significant scope for us to grow even further – the market is huge and we aim to make the most of every opportunity, by continuing to offer the very best personal service to each and every customer.”
