Radisson Blu has announced the opening of two Radisson Blu beach resorts in Mauritius: the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa, Mauritius and the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa, Mauritius.
Operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group, the two resorts are situated on the country’s north-eastern coast.
“These openings mark an important milestone for Radisson Blu as we continue to expand our global presence,” said Marc Descrozaille, area vice president Sub-Saharan Africa for The Rezidor Hotel Group. “We are delighted to add two beautiful resorts to Radisson Blu portfolio and look forward to welcoming our international guests to Mauritius.”
The Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa is a family friendly resort with 160 rooms and suites featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with views out over the gardens or the ocean. The resort’s spacious long-term option includes 60 suites, townhouses and penthouses providing an extensive living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.
Activities at the resort include a full range of water sports from snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing, pedal boats and a glass-bottom boat along with four tennis courts and beach volleyball. Annexed to the fitness centre, the resort’s 300m² spa provides a wide range of professional treatments. Dining options feature a casual all-day dining outlet, Le Comptoir, and the popular L’Azuli a la carte restaurant, which is known for serving the freshest seafood cuisine in an elegant and relaxing setting.
Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa Mauritius is an adults-only resort. The minimalist styled guest rooms are set amidst manicured gardens and provide uninterrupted views of the garden, mountains or the ocean. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass with large sliding doors to a small terrace or a Juliette balcony. Guests can choose to relax in the spa, or take part in recreational activities such as beach volleyball, beach badminton, bocce balls and darts. The resort’s turquoise lagoon is suitable for snorkelling, kayaking, glass-bottom boat and pedal boats.
