United to fly B747 to Singapore
United Airlines has announces plans to upgrade its Hong Kong-Singapore service with the deployment of a Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
From 27 October 2012, the daily flights between Asia’s key business hubs will be operated using a 374-seat B747-400, featuring United’s full range of four cabin classes, including flat bed seats in first and business. The route is currently operated using a single-aisle B737-800 aircraft.
United operates the route daily, with flights departing Hong Kong at 2105 and arriving in Singapore at 0035 the following day. The return service departs Singapore’s Changi airport at 0630, arriving back into Hong Kong International Airport at 1010.
