Virgin Atlantic showcases 787 Dreamliner on Heathrow-Seattle route

Virgin Atlantic is flying a new daily service between London Heathrow and Seattle replacing the flight currently operated by joint venture partner Delta Air Lines.

The new service, launched on 26 March is operated by the airline’s newest, most fuel efficient aircraft, the Boeing 787-9, and will add more than 40,000 extra seats each year between the two cities.

Virgin Atlantic expects to fly around 150,000 customers annually between London Heathrow and Seattle-Tacoma Airport with Delta providing options to connect onto destinations such asCanada and Hawaii.

Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft are configured with 264 seats which consist of 31 Upper Class seats, 35 Premium Economy seats and 198 Economy seats.
