Vistara expands fleet with ninth A320

Vistara has continued to expand its operations with the delivery of its ninth Airbus A320 aircraft.
The new single-aisle jet comes equipped with 148 seats – 16 in business class, 36 in premium economy and 96 in economy – and will be used to increasing the flight frequencies on Vistara’s existing route network.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of our ninth aircraft,” said Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO of Vistara. “The new aircraft will allow us to further enhance our capacity on our key routes and allow many more customers to fly a new feeling with Vistara.
“With this addition, our fleet induction for the year is complete. However, there are many other interesting announcements in the pipeline timed with our anniversary celebrations that will further make our value proposition attractive for our esteemed customers,” he added.
Vistara, which commenced operations in January 2015, now operates 297 weekly flights to 12 Indian destinations.
