Wyndham Hotel Group has opened its first Days Inn hotel in Indonesia.
The former Padjadjaran Suites, located just over 5km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, has now been rebranded as the Days Hotel & Suites Jakarta Airport.
The property, which Wyndham says will now undergo “light renovations”, features 119 rooms, a restaurant, bar, rooftop pool, spa and eight meeting rooms. Guests are also offered complimentary airport shuttle bus services.
“We are looking to introduce more affordable business hotels in prime locations across the region and Days Hotel & Suites Jakarta Airport will be a valuable addition to our portfolio in Indonesia, targeting business travellers and leisure makers on transit,” said Barry Robinson, Wyndham’s president & managing director for Southeast Asia and Pacific Rim.
“Indonesia represents a tremendous opportunity for Wyndham, with its growing middle class who have demonstrated an increased demand for globally-known and value-driven brands such as Days Inn.”
Days Inn currently operates a global collection of 1,800 hotels, including a large portfolio in China and hotels in India, Singapore, South Korea and the Philippines.
