Hilton Worldwide has signed a new management agreement for Southeast Asia’s first Hilton Garden Inn hotel.
The deal, penned yesterday with Hoan Kiem Tourism & Trading Company, will see the hotel company take the reigns of the 86-room Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi. The new mid-range property will become Hilton’s second property in Vietnam following the Hilton Hanoi Opera.
“Hanoi is a major gateway into Vietnam and a key market in the Indochina region. This announcement underlines our commitment to strengthen and expand our portfolio of unique properties in key cities across Asia Pacific. We look forward to introducing guests to the Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi, which joins the mid-market brand’s properties in India and soon Malaysia and China, in providing guests in Southeast Asia with greater mid-market choice from Hilton Worldwide,” said Andrew Clough, Hilton’s Senior Vice President of Development for Middle East & Asia Pacific.
The 11-storey Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi will have 86 rooms, a restaurant and a lounge bar, a 100m² meeting room, spa and on-site car parking facilities. Brand standard amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi access, the ‘Garden Sleep System’ beds and 24-hour business centres.
The new hotel will be located in Hanoi’s French Quarter, at the intersection of Tran Hung Dao and Phan Chu Trinh Avenues. It is within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake.
“We are pleased to continue our expansion of the Hilton Garden Inn brand in Southeast Asia. Business and leisure guests to the Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi will enjoy the amenities synonymous with this award-winning brand designed to help them stay efficient while on the road,” said Adrian Kurre, Global Head of Hilton Garden Inn.
Hilton Garden Inn is currently present in several countries in North America and Europe, and made its Asian debut in 2009 with the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi.
