The establishment of the Hues Hotel in Dubai and its successful one-year of operation has provided the Hues Hotel Management Company an impetus to explore expansion in the region.

As per plans two hotels are underway in the UAE, both with unique offerings.

Mahmoud Hamza, Managing Director of Hues Hotel Management Company talking to Travel Daily Middle East said: “We have a long way to go in terms of our expansion. We have two projects underway – one in Fujairah and the other in Jumeriah Dubai.”

The Hues Hotel Bab Al Bahar Fujairah will be a villa-style property development which will offer 30-35 stand-alone well-equipped villas. Each villa will have around five to 10 rooms catering to big families with amenities such as a butler services and attached swimming pool. The Hues Art Gallery Jumeriah will touch upon the art scene of Dubai and will be an all-suites property. The hotel which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014, is looking to attract international artists to utilise the hotel as an art gallery.

“We want to bring out the art and culture of Dubai through this hotel. The art displays we plan to showcase through the hotel will be a blend of the modern and traditional aspect of the city,” added Hamza.

Elaborating further Hamza said: “We are keen to expand in other regions such a Qatar; we are watching market conditions in Libya as well as the African market. There will also be some new developments at the Hues Hotel even though we are just a year old.”

The property is looking forward to a good summer with increased travel from the GCC market. The new additions expected are an authentic Brazilian restaurant named ‘Samba’ due to open in April 2013. Every aspect of the 100-seater restaurant will be Brazilian right from the staff to the cuisine. Being located in the heart of Dubai’s trade centre, the hotel will be launching a ‘Relaxation Floor’ offering businessmen comfortable spaces to relax and catch up for an afternoon siesta. There will be packages designed to offer guests options of some light snacks and usage of the pool, gym and spa options. This facility will also be offered to transit passengers.
