American Airlines has launched a new direct service between Seoul and Dallas.
The new daily service becomes the first ever direct connection between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and the Korean capital’s Incheon International Airport, with flights operated using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft featuring American’s new Flagship Suite seats in first class. Services depart Seoul at 1650 each day, returning from Dallas at 1020.
“South Korea’s continued growth as a key business market has created increased demand for direct travel to and from the region,” said Chuck Schubert, American’s vice president of network planning.
“This new route enhances our expanding global network and further establishes American’s position as the preferred carrier for one-stop connections between Asia and major business and leisure destinations in North, Central and South America.”
The new service will be operated as part of American’s joint business agreement with its oneworld alliance partner, Japan Airlines.
