Fast-expanding Indonesian budget hotel brand, favehotels, has added another new property in Central Java.

The favehotel Rembang opened its doors on Java’s north coast on 10 December 2014, overlooking the Java Sea and Rembang’s black sandy beaches.

The hotel offers 102 guests rooms, all equipped with LCD TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. The property also features the brand’s Lime Coffee Shop concept, a swimming pool, gym, spa and several meeting rooms, including a 700-pax ballroom.

“Rembang is unlike like most cities in Indonesia. It is a city that is yet to be discovered by many tourists, but it is bustling with business opportunities, cultural sites and impressive beaches,” said John Flood, president & CEO of Archipelago International, which operates the favehotel brand.

“Just like our other favehotel properties, the chic-but-cheap concept of favehotel Rembang will be a new breed of hotel for Rembang, and we are confident it will aid in enticing more business and leisure travellers to this up-and-coming area.”

Rembang is located approximately 160km from Surabaya.
