Archipelago International has continued the rapid growth of its favehotel brand with the opening of a new hotel in Central Jakarta.
The favehotel Tanah Abang Cideng is a modern budget hotel with 103 rooms, all featuring LED TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi. There is also a coffee shop with outdoor terrace and three meeting rooms.
“We are delighted to be starting the New Year with a bang by opening our 11th favehotel in Jakarta right at the heart of the capital,” said Norbert Vas, Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing.
“favehotel Tanah Abang Cideng also marks the 32nd favehotel in Indonesia; a number that we are planning to increase significantly over the next two years.”
The favehotel concept was launched in 2009 and has since arrived in multiple Indonesian destinations, plus the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Future expansion plans include the launch of the first favehotel in the Philippines.
