National Express is set to launch a 24-hour, straight-to-the-terminal bus service from Gatwick Airport to Kent.

National Express and YHA have formed a partnership
National Express has launched a new Gatwick-Kent service.

Starting in December, a dedicated service will serve both terminals from locations throughout Kent eight times a day, with journey times taking as little as an hour. Tickets are bookable now.

Pick up and drop off points will include Canterbury, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. National Express claims travel times will be up to 45 minutes quicker than their rail counterparts, all of which involve at least one change.

The move signifies a significantly enhanced National Express presence at Gatwick – the coach company already serves the airport from London, South Wales, the South Coast, the Midlands and East Anglia, operating hundreds of thousands of passenger journeys a year.

Online fares start at £5 one-way and the cheapest available fares can be found using a dedicated Low Fare Finder.
