Oakwood arrives in Australia

Oakwood, the serviced apartment operator, will make its debut in Australia this year.
Mapletree Investments has acquired the Oakwood Apartments Brisbane, which will launch in April 2016 under Oakwood’s management.
Located near the waterfront with views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge, the property comprises of 162 apartments with studio, one- and two-bedroom options. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis court and fitness centre.

Paul Wilsher, who previously served as general manager of SilverNeedle’s Sage Hotel in Wollongong, and been appointed GM of the Oakwood Apartments Brisbane.
