Royal Brunei Airlines will now be able to offer flights to Turkey, following the signing of a new codeshare agreement.
Effective 22 February 2016, the deal with Turkish Airlines will enable Royal Brunei passengers to travel from Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan to Istanbul, via Dubai.
The reciprocal arrangement will also see Turkish Airlines codeshare on Royal Brunei’s services between Dubai and Bandar Seri Begawan.
The agreement was signed in Antalya, Turkey, by Karam Chan, Royal Brunei’s chief commercial & planning officer, and Dr Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Airlines’ chief investment & technology officer.
“Royal Brunei Airlines is delighted with the recent enhancements of the commercial cooperation between both airlines. We are keen to further expand the codeshare arrangements in the future to our mutual benefit,” said Chan.
