Austrian Airlines has signed a codeshare agreement with Thai carrier Bangkok Airways.
Under the deal, new destinations in Thailand and Cambodia can now be booked directly through Austrian Airlines. The Austrian carrier operates a daily nonstop flight service to Bangkok from Vienna.
In addition to the new partnership with Bangkok Airways, the existing codeshare agreement with the Star Alliance partner Thai Airways International has been expanded to encompass additional frequencies on routes within Thailand.
Christian Steyer, director of Cooperations at Austrian Airlines, said: “We have not only attracted Bangkok Airways as a new partner in the Asian region, but also intensified existing relationships with Thai Airways International. In this way we can offer numerous new and interesting destinations as well as a wider choice of flights to our customers.”
