Singapore Airlines has significantly expanded its presence in Europe following the launch of a new partnership with Lufthansa’s low-cost carrier, Eurowings.
Under the new deal, SIA passengers travelling on the Asian airline’s new flights to Dusseldorf will be able to connect with Eurowings’ vast European network.
At present, Eurowings flies to approximately 50 European destinations either seasonally or all-year-round, across 18 countries.
This agreement follows a similar deal signed recently between SIA and the UK’s Flybe, and the two arrangements will now open up a plethora of new one-stop travel opportunities for Singaporean passengers flying to and from Europe.
SIA launched direct flights to Dusseldorf last month, using its brand new Airbus A350 aircraft.
