Hilton has continued to expand its midscale Garden Inn brand in China with the opening of a new property in Guangdong province.
The new Hilton Garden Inn Zhongshan Guzhen joins the existing Hilton Zhongshan Downtown, which opened in 2014.
Located adjacent to the Lihe Lighting Exhibition Center and 35km from Zhongshan Port, the new hotel offers 246 rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre, self-service laundry, meeting room and board room. In terms of F&B there is a restaurant, bar, noodle bar and a 24-hour area for snacks.
“Since we opened our first Hilton Garden Inn in Shenzhen… in 2014, the brand has driven significant awareness and portfolio growth in China and we now operate eight hotels and have more than 40 in the pipeline,” said John Greenleaf, global head of Hilton Garden Inn. “Hilton Garden Inn Zhongshan Guzhen is a fantastic addition to our portfolio, given its strategic location in such a key commercial and leisure destination.”
The 246-room Hilton Garden Inn Zhongshan Guzhen is managed owned by the Lihe Group, which also owns Hilton Zhongshan Downtown.
