Rove, the new adventure travel company, has launched its first series of Asian tours.
Showcased on the company’s new website, rove.travel, the new tours initially cover seven Asian destinations – Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar – with more expected to follow in future. They include cycling, trekking, watersports and family-based adventure tours.
One unique selling point for the company is its approach to solo travel; Rove provides private rooms for solo travellers and promises no single supplements.
“One of our core values is inclusivity. We strive to encourage everyone to explore the world and enjoy the same adventures,” explained Holly Richter, managing director of Rove. “Single travellers should not be priced out of trips just because they do not have a travelling partner or simply prefer to travel alone.”
Rove also provides options for private tours and fully-tailored adventures. Online booking functionality is set to be made available over the coming weeks.
The company was created by co-founders Holly Richter (formerly of Backroads and Exo Travel) and Struan Robertson (formerly of SpiceRoads).
