China Southern Airlines will double the frequency of its flights to London this summer, with the launch of a second daily service direct from Guangzhou.

Commencing on 1 June 2017, the new flight will be operated using China Southern’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which can seat 228 passengers in three cabins – four in first class, 24 in business class and 200 in economy.

Under the expanded schedule, China Southern’s two daily London flights will depart Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport at 0055 and 0930, and arrive at Heathrow Airport at 0635 and 1505 respectively. The return flights will then leave London at 1235 and 2235, and arrive back in Guangzhou at 0710 and 1705 respectively, both the following day.

This additional service takes China Southern’s total operations between China and Western Europe to 41 weekly departures.
