Pioneering New Zealand-based expedition cruise company Heritage Expeditions luxurious new flagship Heritage Adventurer is nearing the completion of her refurbishment ahead of the New Zealand border opening and the announcement of three epic ‘Kiwi as’ adventures.

Commercial Director and Expedition Leader Aaron Russ said the refurbishment, which began in Greece and is nearing completion in Turkey, had restored the world-renowned expedition vessel to her former glory.

Heritage Adventurer is as striking as the day she first launched, and ready to reclaim her crown as the ‘Grande Dame of Polar Exploration’, he said.

Resplendent in her new regal livery, in addition to her Heritage-blue hull, gold bands and reimagined logo proudly displayed on her funnel and revived teak decks, all internal areas have been refurbished in preparation of being Heritage-ready next month.

“We look forward to her stylish and highly-anticipated return to operation and continuing our unique and immersive expedition experiences, connecting guests with the regions we visit in a genuine and unique way and sharing the local wildlife, cultures and landscapes with them,” said Aaron.
