Accor has launched a new Grand Mercure hotel in Goa.
Located close to North Goa’s main beaches and entertainment areas, the new Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resort is designed to offer a base for leisure travellers and families visiting India’s main resort destination.
The 121 rooms range from superior kings to one-bedroom apartments, but all come equipped with space for families, accommodating at least one adult and two children or two adults and one child. In-room amenities include Wi-Fi, minibars and 42-inch LCD televisions.
There are a series of leisure facilities at the Grand Mercure, including a spa with 10 treatment rooms, with Ayurvedic therapies on offer, plus a hammam and fitness centre.
In terms of F&B, the hotel features a restaurant and two bars, while for events there are also four meeting room able to cater for up to 400 people.
The new hotel becomes Accor’s second property in Goa, following the Novotel Goa Shrem Resort.
