Accor has rebranded an upscale resort in New South Wales to continue the growth of its Pullman brand in Australia.

The Quay West Resort Magenta Shores, which is located between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean, 90 minutes’ drive north of Sydney, has now been renamed as the Pullman Magenta Shores.

The hotel recently completed a major refurbishment and now offers 59 rooms and villas, including one-, two- and three-bedroom units, plus a restaurant, bar, spa and meeting place. It is set within the Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club, which includes an 18-hole golf course, tennis court, two swimming pools and a gym. Most rooms overlook the golf course.

“Pullman has already established an enviable reputation in the Australian market following a major rebranding and refurbishment programme within the capital cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over the past year. The next evolution of the brand is to expand this experience into sought after areas with strong feeder markets that are destinations in themselves,” said Simon McGrath, chief operating officer of Accor Pacific.

“Magenta Shores has been a fixture of NSW’s tourism scene for years and the combination of its idyllic location, new branding and the refurbishment of its guest rooms will see it attract even greater volumes of business, leisure and conference business.”

Pullman now has 12 hotels and resorts in Australia.
