Air Canada has confirmed it will soon offer more daily flights from the UK to Canada than any other airline, with up to 88 non-stop services per week to eight major Canadian cities scheduled from this summer onwards. Air Canada rouge web

From Heathrow, Air Canada will operate direct flights to Toronto four times a day, daily to Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa and St. John’s, and three times per week to Edmonton. The airline is also introducing a second service to Calgary operating four times a week, commencing 2 June.

Air Canada rouge, Air Canada’s leisure airline, will operate seasonal non-stop services with up to five flights a week from Edinburgh (17 June to 14 October) and up to six flights a week from Manchester (29 June to 30 September) to Toronto this summer.

“With the current favourable exchange rate, it has never been a better time for UK travellers to fly to Canada. This combined with the frequency of flights we operate non-stop to eight major Canadian cities this summer, provides great choice and value for our customers in the UK,” said Robert Atkinson, GM UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, Air Canada. “As a global carrier, we are able to offer customers convenient onward connections to destinations across the Americas from our Toronto hub.”
UK customers travelling with Air Canada to the US are no longer required to pick up their bags when transiting in Toronto and Montréal. They can also pre-clear US Customs and Immigration.
