Amadeus named ETC’s first honorary associate member

Amadeus has become the first honorary associate member of the European Travel Commission.
The associate membership with the ETC, which represents 33 National Tourism organisations in Europe, “will enable us to further support tourism as a driver of the European economy through advocacy and information exchange,” Commented Juan Jesús García Sanchez, senior advisor, Industry Affairs, Amadeus IT Group.
“Amadeus and the ETC have a long-standing successful history of working together, which has resulted in the formation of a strategic partnership and a Ulysses Award from the UNWTO. Our goal is to continue working together in collaboration with the European Commission and European Parliament to reinforce the competitiveness of the tourism sector in Europe.”
