American Airlines is to increase its flights between Heathrow and Dallas/Fort Worth next month.
The fourth daily flight will commence on 15 June and together with its British Airways’ codeshare means there will be five flights a day on the route.
In addition, bookings for its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route open on Sunday (27 May) with mood lighting, Main Cabin Extra and fully lie-flat seats.
The announcements come as the airline marks 30 years flying from London, when its cabin crew wore uniforms pictured as pictured here.
Its check-in area will be moved to Heathrow’s Zone F next Thursday (31 May) with full use of self check-in machines. Premium customers can still use the flagship check-in desk at the front of the terminal.
