Archipelago International has continued its rapid expansion in Indonesia with the launch of a new collection of luxury suites in the country’s capital, Jakarta.
The Grove Suites by Grand Aston opened recently, becoming Archipelago’s 20th hotel in the Indonesian capital and its new flagship. Located in Rasuna Epicentrum, a new mixed-used development in the Golden Triangle area of the city, the new property offers a choice of 151 one- and two-bedroom suite, which Archipelago says are “geared towards business travellers on long- and short-term assignments”.
Facilities at the property include a restaurant, two lounges, a fitness centre, spa and a swimming pool with pool bar. There are also two meeting rooms.
Guests also have access to the Rasuna Epicentrum mall, which is located just outside the hotel’s main lobby, while the local area features a range of dining, entertaining and shopping options.
“The Grove Suites by Grand Aston was conceptualised to be our Jakarta flagship and stands out from our other properties not only through its luxurious offerings but by affording a boutique like and residential feel, pan-Asian interior design and very distinguished suite layout which is anything else but cookie cutter,” said Norbert Vas, Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing.
Archipelago International, which operates brands including favehotel, Aston and Alana, now operates a portfolio of more than 67 hotels with 12,000 rooms. But it continues to expand and has a pipeline of more than 90 new properties being developed in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
