Archipelago International has continued expanding its portfolio of Indonesian MICE hotels, with the launch of the Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center.

The new four-star property will be located close to the centre of Madiun, a city in the western part of East Java, accessible from Yogyakarta and Solo. The hotel will offer 125 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa and gym.

The adjoining conference centre will include seven meeting rooms and a ballroom capable of accommodating 1,500 delegates.

“The Aston Madiun Hotel is set to become the leading hotel and conference centre in Madiun; a city that until now, has not seen a four-star hotel that meets international standards,” said Norbert Vas, Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing.

“Here at Archipelago, we believe that every city in Indonesia has the potential to create a market of high-quality hospitality services, which in effect will increase the economic prosperity of the surrounding communities.”

Through its Aston brand, Archipelago is developing a portfolio of combined hotel and conference centres across Indonesia. Other joint projects have already launched in destinations including Bali, Jakarta, Semarang, Kupang, Timika, Cirebon, Makassar, Jambi and Palembang.

All Aston properties also offer free Wi-Fi.
