China Southern Airlines will resume its flights to Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu next month.
Commencing on 26 April 2016, the airline will offer three weekly flights direct between Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport to Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport.
Flights will depart the Chinese city every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1940 and arrive in Nepal’s capital at 2215. The return services will then leave Kathmandu at 2315 and get back to Guangzhou at 0545 the next morning.
China Southern will serve the route using its 122-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.
The resumption of flights comes after a hiatus of nearly seven months. China Southern Airlines suspended its Kathmandu service in September 2015 due problems with the supply of jet fuel in Nepal.
