Organised by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), Cruise Week champions the attractions and experiences available on a cruise holiday, with a particular focus on destinations, boutique cruises, entertainment, food, health and well-being, accommodation and family activities.

Each day of Cruise Week will promote a different benefit of cruise holidays and visitors to cruiseexperts.org will have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including:

* A £150 voucher from Great British Chefs to put towards a meal at a participating restaurant. Also up for grabs is a signed bottle of wine from British connoisseur and television presenter, Oz Clarke.

* A pair of Riedel wine decanters, courtesy of and commemorating Crystal Cruises’ 25th Anniversary

* A red carpet experience at a forthcoming Walt Disney Studios premiere in London, including overnight accommodation and dinner for two, courtesy of Disney Cruise Line.

* A five-course lunch tasting menu with champagne for two at Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin star restaurant, Maze, courtesy of Princess Cruises and Red Letter Days

Cruise Week provides an opportunity for the travel industry to promote the benefits of cruise holidays and aims to encourage more people to consider a cruise for the first time. Competition entrants can visit www.cruiseexperts.org to discover which prize is available each day.

Andy Harmer, director of CLIA UK and Ireland, said: “This year marks our eighth Cruise Week which celebrates cruise holidays and champions the vast range of options available on a cruise, from food and facilities, to the choice of destinations, both on oceans and rivers.

“We’re excited to offer travellers a choice of seven fantastic prizes and give a snapshot of the huge choice of experiences available on cruise holidays.”
