Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV) has a new cruise brochure ‘World Cruise Collection 2018’ Second Edition out this week.

CMV Magellan

The brochure covers the period from December this year through until December 2018.

Mike Hall, head of marketing at CMV said: “CMV are always setting new trends in cruising and this is no exception. Throughout winter 2017/18 and in summer 2018 programme there are substantial discounts for those who book before 31st October, persuading passengers to book early and get the right cabin and a good deal.

“No-fly cruising from the UK is the corner stones of our business. For 2018 we are offering even more opportunities to join a cruise even closer with Harwich, Poole and Portsmouth added bringing the total UK departures to eleven plus two ports in Ireland.”

In the latest deal, introduced this week, passengers can save up to 30% plus buy One Get One Half Price. As an example, the brochure full fare for a seven nights Majestic Fjordland cruise on board Columbus departing 19 April is £1039pp, now the first person gets a 30% discount which is £729 and the second sharing person pays 50% of the discounted fare £369.

The Buy one get one free (BOGOF) is still available for a selected number of cruises including Magellan’s winter voyage over to the Amazon & West Indies and Columbus’ Grand Round the world Cruise. The 121 night World Cruise on this deal is currently from £7,499pp (£14,999 Full Fare). All details of these and other cruise deals are on the CMV webite.

Mike Hall said: “As trend setters we have introduced more multi-generational cruises during school holiday periods. Sharing with two adults fares for children start from just £99. Whilst CMV offer no specific childrens facilities on board this format has proved a winner this year. On our two larger vessels Columbus and Magellan we will continue to set aside 150 twin cabins on each ship for single use at only a 25% supplement.”

The fare quoted is based on two people sharing a twin inner cabin and includes delicious full board cuisine, afternoon teas and late night snacks, Captain’s Cocktail Party, complimentary tea & coffee 6am to midnight, big show entertainment, cabarets and classical interludes, daytime activities and leisure facilities, guest speaker and arts & crafts, porterage of luggage, port to cabin and port taxes.
