Dubai’s Concourse 3 gets an international F&B line-up

Dubai International’s new purpose-built A380 facility, Concourse 3, will be introducing unique food and beverage concepts. Giraffe will open its first outlet in the Middle East at Dubai International. Dubai Airports will have a varied portfolio of 16 food and beverage outlets and bars.

“We considered it essential to provide the right mix of trusted brands appropriate to Dubai International’s diverse passenger base,” said Eugene Barry, senior vice president commercial at Dubai Airports.

The other brands present will include Umaizushi Bistro and Picnic, managed by HMS Host International, Costa Metropolitan, Paul, Wafi Gourmet, Carluccio’s, Cho Gao, Pulp Juice Bar, McDonalds and McCafe, Shake Shack, Starbucks, Le Pain Quotidien, Heineken Lounge, Jack’s Bar & Grill and Moet & Chandon Champagne Bar. In addition, the facility will have a non-branded food court, to cater for all budgets and tastes.

Concourse 3 is on track to open in the first quarter of 2013. The facility, which will cater solely for Emirates flights, is spread over 10 levels. Concourse 3 will increase the airport’s total capacity from the current 60 million passengers per annum to 75 million passengers.
