Flight capacity from London to Greece and Cyprus will be updated this summer, as two airlines announced new routes.
Aegean Airlines has revealed it will operate a total of six direct routes into Greece and Cyprus from London this summer.
New flights between Heathrow and Larnaca will operate daily from 29 March, and a service between Gatwick and Heraklion will commence 21 June with up to six flights a week.
Its service between Birmingham and Athens will also resume for the summer, while the Manchester-Athens route will new operate year-round.
In total Aegean will add two million more seats this year compared to 2014, with many on its new Airbus A320ceos.

Low-cost carrier Norwegian has also announced a new flight to Greece. Services from Gatwick to Kefalonia will commence from 18 April with the airline’s regular service including free Wi-Fi.
The additional capacity comes amid the grounding of flights by Cyprus Airways.
