Danube Budapest
Several cruises departing Budapest have been cancelled

Several river cruises have been cancelled due to flooding on the Danube River and the surrounding region.

Passengers onboard MS Filia Rheni, chartered by Titan, had to stay on ship yesterday as it was unable to dock and the remainder of the cruise has now been cancelled.

Viking River Cruises, Avalon Waterways, APT (on AmaWaterways ships), Uniworld, Tauck and Scenic Cruises have all cancelled cruises departing in the next four days that have itineraries based around Budapest, Austria and the Danube, according to Cruise Critic.

Heavy rainfall in Europe has caused flooding in central Europe particularly affecting the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland and Poland with more than 10 cruises called off.
