Archipelago International has announced the development of four new favehotels in Indonesia.
The Jakarta-based hotel company has penned management contracts for new budget properties in Jakarta, Bali, Bandung and Makassar.
Currently under development, the favehotel Atang Sanjaya in Jakarta, favehotel Legaligo in Makassar, favehotel Lembang in Bandung and favehotel Tohpati in Bali are all due to be completed in 2014-15. Each will feature approximately 100 rooms, with flat-screen satellite TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi.
“We are pleased to be expanding favehotel’s portfolio which will further strengthen our presence in the country as the leading budget hotel chain. Archipelago International has 18 favehotels in the portfolio, in addition to the 45 projects under development. These signings will help meet the demand for quality budget accommodation for national and international travellers,” said Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing, Norbert Vas.
favehotel is Archipelago’s contemporary budget hotel brand, and is currently present in 18 locations across Indonesia – five in Jakarta, five in Bali, two in Bandung, two in Solo and one each in Balikpapan, Surabaya, Yogyakarta and the Malaysian island of Langkawi.
