Hilton Garden Inn Lijiang is now open, offering 172 rooms and suites, including 10 family units. Facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, noodle bar and a 24-hour ‘Pavilion Pantry’, serving snacks and beverages.
There are also two bars, a 24-hour business centre, fitness centre and 230m² of meeting space. Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the hotel.
“We are delighted to introduce Hilton Worldwide’s first property into Yunnan province,” said Bruce McKenzie, Hilton’s senior vice president of operations, for Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide.
“As a world-renowned tourism hub, Lijiang’s rich heritage and culture draw millions of domestic and international visitors each year. We are proud to offer smart, value-conscious travellers the option to stay at an award-winning, upper mid-scale branded hotel and experience cultural richness of this beautiful destination.”
The Lijiang hotel becomes only the third Hilton Garden Inn in China, following existing properties in Shenzhen and Chengdu.
