Hilton has launched its fourth Hilton Garden Inn hotel in China, and its first property in Fuzhou.
The new Hilton Garden Inn Fuzhou Cangshan is located in the capital of southeast China’s Fujian province, forming part of a mixed-use development that also includes a high-end commercial centre, retail and entertainment space.
It offers 206 rooms and suites, plus complimentary Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business centre and fitness centre, a 24-hour F&B outlet and more than 500m² of event space.
“Hilton Garden Inn Fuzhou Cangshan marks Hilton Worldwide’s entry into Fuzhou and is a great addition to our portfolio in this key market where we remain committed to growing our presence, particularly in tier two and three cities,” said Bruce McKenzie, Hilton’s senior vice president of operations for Greater China & Mongolia.
Hilton Garden Inn Fuzhou Cangshan joins the brand’s existing Chinese hotels in Shenzhen, Lijiang and Dandong. But Hilton has major expansion plans for the Hilton Garden Inn concept in China, with more than 25 hotels in the pipeline.
