Hilton Garden Inn opens in UAE

Hilton Worldwide recently celebrated the opening of its mid-scale brand – Hilton Garden Inn – into the UAE.
The opening was marked with the unveiling of an edible Dubai skyline – created using the brand’s signature breakfast waffles.
The sculpture was created from 1,500 waffles and measuring three by four metres, took Mark Ranasinghe almost forty hours to construct and imitates eight iconic landmarks in the city, including Burj Khalifa.
The first of three new hotels – the 183-room Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat – officially opened in late October. Hilton Garden Inn will add an additional 552 new rooms over next two months with opening of the 182-room Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina and the 370-room Hilton Garden Inn Mall of the Emirates.
Mark Nogal, regional head, Hilton Garden Inn EMEA said: “We are excited to introduce the Hilton Garden Inn brand into the UAE for the first time. There are three Dubai properties due to open in the next two months and another six in the pipeline. With mounting demand for mid-scale accommodation, we believe arrival of Hilton Garden Inn will play an essential role.”
Guests will be able to choose from The Garden Grille & Bar, which offers a full cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service The Garden Café serves snacks and drinks as well as The Pavilion Pantry which is open 24 hours.
