Hilton has brought its Garden Inn brand to southwest China’s scenic Guizhou province.
The 251-room Hilton Garden Inn Guiyang Yunyan has now opened, located close to the city’s conference centre. The upper-midscale property will offer free Wi-Fi, two function rooms, a 24-hour business centre, a restaurant, noodle bar, a 24-hour “grab and go” F&B area and a bar.
This marks the latest step in a major roll-out of the Hilton Garden Inn brand in China; already this year new hotels have opened in Ningbo and Guiyang, taking its total nationwide portfolio to 10 properties, with a further 38 in the pipeline. Hilton Garden Inn first arrived in China in 2014.
Across all its brands, Hilton Worldwide now has 80 properties open in China with a further 200 expected to launch in the coming months and years.
Guizhou province is known for its dramatic scenery, including limestone karst hills and winding rivers that are popular with both domestic and international tourists.
